
How do I pick-up/drop off passengers?
Pick up is via outside of gate C on Oliver Rogers Road, unless Flinders Ports decides to open up Gate B for large numbers of passenger exchange. Please refer to the Traffic Management Map.
Drop off can be made via gate A which will allow passengers to be dropped off at the Passenger Terminal door. Otherwise passengers will be allowed access via gate C on Oliver Rogers Road and walk in to the Terminal. Please refer to the Traffic Management Map.

Passengers need to show their boarding pass and ID at the security gate to enter the facility.
Is parking available for the public?
Parking is not available for the public inside the terminal facilities, however there is off-road parking surrounding the terminal on Oliver Rogers Road.
Can I access the Port Facility or Passenger Terminal Building?
The terminal building is restricted to passengers only, the general public cannot access the area due to strict security regulations governed by the national security body of the Office of Transport Security (OTS). Passengers boarding the vessel need to show their boarding pass at the security gate to enter the facility. In special circumstances, eg assisting a disabled passenger, you can seek permission from Flinders Ports prior to an arrival to enter the facility. How far does a passenger need to walk with baggage to the nearest transport? Tour buses, shuttle buses and taxis are available outside the passenger terminal door. The Outer Harbor train station is located 100 metres from the passenger terminal building – a new walkway has been created to make it easy and safe for passengers to walk with their luggage from the terminal to the train station.
Where is the best place to view a cruise ship?
Along the coast from Outer Harbor up to Semaphore, there are several car parking bays where you could stop and view the ship as it is coming into the harbour and then going out again at dusk. For details on when a ship is coming in and out of the port click here.
