The 2009/2010 cruise season will be the busiest in the state's history, with a record 27 ships expected in South Australian waters, with 20 of these vessels to berth at the Port Adelaide Passenger Terminal.
The passenger terminal is restricted to passengers only. The general public cannot access the area due to strict security regulations governed by the national security body of the Office of Transport Security (OTS).
The best place to view the cruise ships is along the coast from Outer Harbor to Semaphore. There are several car parking bays where you could stop and view the ship as it is entering or leaving the port.
